The World’s Most Famous Train

During its 9 month long season, the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express will make over 60 journeys covering 150,000 kilometres, with the majority of trips between London and Venice. Marketed as the world’s most luxurious and romantic train journey, the train is comprised of 17 unique 1920’s carriages, all of which were obtained from one of the many famous pioneering trains of that era. Having carried an abundance of elite individuals, across Italy, Switzerland, and Turkey for nearly a century, each carriage contains its own unique history, from dramatic incidents, to royal scandals alike.
