Gdje si bio četrdeset i četvrte? (Where Were You in the Year of ‘44?)

Where Were You in the Year of ‘44? is a documentary fiction about a group of people in love with airsoft- a type of sport in which the players have to eliminate their opponents by shooting from replica weapons, using plastic balls as munitions. But the film is not only about “the battle”, the main characters show us the importance of the history context which is an inseparable from game. Beside the replica weapons, airsoft’s players use costume, cars as well as other objects in order to evoke the events from the end of the WW2. The amusing enthusiasts make us return into childhood when playing war games was a part of growing up. It is a story about adults who are fascinated by the history and is because of their devotion to airsoft that they brought it to another dimension – instead of war nowadays it represents the game.
