S01E01 In most murder cases the 999 caller is a well-meaning citizen keen to alert police to a terrible crime; but sometimes the person on the line is the killer themselves. From the devious wife who rang emergency services to claim her husband had been burnt alive by masked raiders to the killer who pretended he had stumbled over the body of one of his victims, each episode starts with the audio of a killer on the line. Using visually arresting graphics, the series reveals the terrifying backstory that leads to each call.
