Each episode of this true crime series follows a homicide investigation where crucial evidence was caught on a Ring style doorbell or home security footage. With digital forensics becoming ever more important, the show digs into the detail of how murders are solved through analysing this footage. Digital forensics expert, Nick Barreiro, a former California homicide detective, provides his insights. FBI trained, Nick worked on the Ghislane Maxwell and R Kelly cases.

Featuring dramatic murder cases from the UK and USA, investigators, prosecutors and friends and families of the victim help piece together what happened.  They describe how the investigation unfolded, and the role digital forensics had in putting the killer behind bars.

Cases include the wife of an anaesthetist found dead in an apparent suicide, a Jehovah’s Witness bludgeoned to death in her hallway, a basketball star shot outside his home and a teen stabbed with a ninja sword on his street in a case of mistaken identity.
